About me

I was brought up in the Scottish Boarders on  Cheviot Hill farm where my father was a shepherd. I currently live in Livingston close to Edinburgh City. Thankfully I still live close to  fields, sheep and cows and the beautiful country side of my local area. I have a back ground in art among other things but my blood runs thick with a passion for photography. I studied both art  at college and more recently in 2017/18 photography where I discovered Pictorialism. The cross over between photography and art suits me very much.  I like my images to have a painterly feel. I am now producing a body of work set as fine art images. I shoot what ever I think makes a great images and I am not constrained by any particular genre. My dog Max keeps me company of photographic outings. He is 12 now. He is my dear companion. Being a single woman in a modern world my passion for photography, art and Max keeps me going.
